Job Description: The Paint Technician is responsible for changes, set-up, and maintenance of machine and equipment parameters. This role ensures that all machines and equipment are properly functioning, interfaces with various departments to assure timely and cost-effective production, and maintains safety practices to prevent injuries. Key responsibilities include supervising and managing shifts, coordinating workflow, performing machine adjustments, and providing technical expertise to assure quality and productivity. Additional duties involve troubleshooting paint and secondary equipment, completing process set-up verifications, and ensuring all daily process checks are accurate. Hard Skills: Automated Paint equipment set up and operation Mechanical aptitude Preventative maintenance Soft Skills: Supervising and managing shifts Coordinating workflow Technical expertise Collaboration with other departments Communication Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Portage, Michigan. Work Environment: Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday-Friday plus 5-10+ hours of overtime available. Pay: $24.00-$28.00 an hour plus a 5% shift premium.
