Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our team at Lowell Correctional Institution located in Ocala, Florida.

The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting, interpreting, and reporting of data, assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and will serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding care, tracking, and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.

Qualifications

  • Florida RN license or ability to obtain license
  • ADA and Infection Control Experience preferred
  • Current CPR
  • Corrections experience not required but preferred
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm (possible weekends)
