Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient first mindset. You’re adept at insertion of mid-lines and peripherally inserted central catheters and experienced in providing patients and families with emotional support, information and guidance.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, collaborate with other specialists as required.
- Assess and reassess pain and pain management techniques utilized.
- Maintain, clean and disinfect medical equipment after use.
- Answer telephone calls in a professional manner
- Function as liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
What You’ll Need
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
- Chemo Certification within 6 months from hire from ONS
- Other specialty certifications may be required after hire
