Responsibilities
    •  Install, Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and functionally check instruments, control systems, final control elements, control valves, switches, levels, temperatures and flows
  • Install, test, troubleshoot and repair motor controls, PLC’s, and relays.
  • Use test equipment, multimeters, loop calibrators, communicators, and hand tools.
  • Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot ladder logic.
  • Works directly with vendors, operations, and reliability group to resolve problems.
  • Participate in site-wide Process Safety and Risk Reduction
  • Complete all written and electronic records, calibration sheets, work orders and document the work in progress as it is completed.
Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years experience of instrumentation analyzer and/or electrical experience.
  • Reads, interprets electrical drawings and P&ID’s
  • Maintains drawings to reflect any modifications.
  • Have utilized test equipment, multi meters and other had tools
  • Basic computer skills including MS office applications, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented with problem solving skills, and able to organize and prioritize work assignments.
  • Able to work overtime, weekends and have scheduled on call duties. 

Preferred:

  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance instrument, analyzer and/or electrical experience
  • Have utilized SAP or other reporting system
  • NCCER- Instrumentation certification
  • Knowledge of general and specific maintenance disciplines usually gained through a technical associate degree.
