Licensed Practical Nurse, UHS Primary Care Northern Tioga United Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Newark Valley Family Practice department at UHS Primary Care Northern Tioga in Newark Valley, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $20.50 - $29.62 per hour, depending on experience. Overview A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider. Qualifications Education/Experience Minimum Required: Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing Preferred: N/A License/Certification Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90 day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR) About United Health Services United Health Services is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 500,000 people in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier region.
