Hybrid role, candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta

As a Sr. Lead QA Test Automation Engineer, You will also execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and functionality for our Georgia Child Welfare - Office of Information Technology team.You will focus on creating test scripts along with managing a team, framework and executing functional, regression and end-to-end automated scripts for products front-end and back-end applications. Responsible for executing the automated regression tests prior to release and on demand. You should be willing to step into Manual QA role and perform Manual Testing on need basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, fostering collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Automated Testing with Leapwork: Design, implement, and execute automated test cases using Leapwork, ensuring effective coverage of modular and microservices systems.
- CI/CD Integration: Develop and write test cases for seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines, facilitating continuous testing and deployment processes.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with multiple vendor teams to align testing strategies, manage deliverables, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Comprehensive Testing: Conduct testing across various layers, including UI, API, and database, ensuring thorough validation of functionalities and dat integrity.
- Root Cause nalysis: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis of issues, working with development teams to resolve defects and improve system quality.
- Test Case Development: Create detailed and effective test cases and scripts for functional, integration, and performance testing, ensuring all aspects of the system are thoroughly tested.
- Documentation nd Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test cases, results, defect tracking, and testing processes. Provide regular status reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Ticketing system: Experience in ServiceNOW tool, integration with Leapwork tool is plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Overall 10+ years' experience in Quality Assurance with a strong background in utomated testing and minimum 5 years in using Leapwork. Experience in working with modular and microservices systems is required.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automated testing tools, including Leapwork. Experience with UI testing, API testing, and SQL for data validation.
- CI/CD Skills: Experience writing and integrating test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Leadership: Demonstrated bility to lead and mentor a QA team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause nalysis.
- Proactive pproach: Ability to be proactive, take initiative, and drive quality improvements effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
