QUALIFICATIONS:
-Two years of college or technical school OR
three to five years of experience directly related to data entry/management OR an equivalent combination of training/experience.
-Possess a general knowledge of computers, computer commands, peripherals, various operating systems and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
Must be willing to obtain bus driver license
Pay Grade 61, Regular State Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Maintains and utilizes the computerized student information system
-Prepares/summarizes/analyzes information for standard/statistical reports as needed by system administrators and SDPI.
-Prepares and/or maintains computer records of student attendance, late-arrival forms, creates"tardy" lists, check-out forms, and "early leave" lists .
-Provides the files to be used in school accountability (ABC's).
-Maintains student demographic, scheduling, and grading information.
-Maintains records of student suspensions, withdrawals from school, transfers between schools.
-Provides information and/or training to school staff on the use of the student information system and application of data from the system.
-Attends conferences and classes to develop and maintain knowledge of database management and the student information system.
-Any other duties assigned by the principal.

administrative reassignments.
