Brookings Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and be part of the Brookings Health System mission: To provide high quality, compassionate, personalized health care. Brookings Health system is a non-profit City owned health organization offering a full range of inpatient, outpatient, surgery, home health and extended care services.

There is a part time (less than 20 hours per week) position and will be responsible for providing direct support to the Pharmacy. Duties include billing, utilizing electronic medical records, moderate lifting, stocking, packaging, IV product preparation, chemotherapy preparation, delivering medications, and ensuring the appropriate management and storage of medications.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork
  • Flexibility to accommodate a work schedule that has a variety of scheduled hours during the weekday and also includes a holiday and weekend rotation
  • High school diploma
  • Experience in the pharmacy and/or medical field is preferred but not required
  • Pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required for application

Compensation:

  • Starting at $16.76 based on experience
