Job Description: Marketing Data Analyst Newark, NJ Hybrid As the Marketing Data Analyst, you will use advanced analytics and visualization to measure the performance and effectiveness of digital channels and marketing campaigns to drive overall media efficiency and effectiveness. This role demands a blend of analytical expertise, strategic acumen, and ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will handle detailed data analysis, campaign reporting, and closely collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions. The Marketing Data Analyst associate should also possess expertise across various marketing verticals including social media, programmatic advertising, web analytics, CRM, and paid media. What are we looking for? Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience 4 years of experience in the fields of Analytics, Data Science, or Strategy demonstrating the ability to derive insights offering marketing solutions. Agency experience preferred. Proficiency in data analytics software: SQL, Python, or R Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools Experience with website measurement and tagging tools (e.g., GA/GTM) and troubleshooting tag configuration. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Lookr, Datorama, plotly, ggplot, seaborn) Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data. Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques Strong communication and data presentation skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. What would be your key responsibilities? Create marketing measurement plans tailored to consumer data engagement, including assessing audience performance Employ data visualization and reporting techniques to effectively communicate measurement results Utilize historical data to create baseline models for future campaign comparisons Analyze campaign data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization Build attribution models that account for multi-device, multi-step consumer journeys Identify and assess engagement points contributing to conversions Define KPIs and success criteria for campaigns Create audiences for activations in marketing and media campaigns, collaborating with the Data Science team where applicable Enhance the robustness of the CDP with activation and journey measurement logic Foster an analytics and data-driven mindset across business teams Collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve business results through consumer-focused marketing strategies What can you expect from Mars?
