View Point Health Job Title: Program Assistant (Program Support Generalist)Job Code: TPW/Personnel Service Worker - GSS081/Administrative Assistant 2Shift: First PRN (19-hrs per week)Job Hours: Times May VaryBase Location: Conyers, GA.Division/Department/Program: Autism Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) The View Point Health Acute Services has three Crisis Stabilization Programs. Our Adult unit is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We serve adult clients with psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services as well as substance use disorder. Our Adolescent unit is located in Decatur, Georgia. We serve adolescent clients (14-17) with psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services as well as substance use disorder. Our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit is located in Conyers, Georgia. We serve adolescent clients (10-14) on the Autism Spectrum with severe and challenging behaviors with psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services. A Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) operates 24 hours/7 days a week (including weekends and holidays) to provide a safe, structured and locked environment for clients experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis. The services are like residential treatment, but provide a higher level of care due to our acuity of the clients who are in crisis. Our units operate much like a psychiatric hospital. A clients stays with us is to help ensure he/she is stable from the prompting event of their crisis prior to discharge. Clients do not leave the facility during their stay with us. Program Support Generalist would be responsible for payroll of assigned services units, processing and adjusting failed claims and failed activities, review and tracking of billing for Temporary Observation Unit. Duties & Responsibilities: Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and summarizing timekeeping information and entering data. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings.Obtain supervisory approval of timecard discrepancies.Obtain overtime approvals.Process and close periodic payrolls.Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.Prepare and submit reports with payroll information to supervisor.Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.Assist with approval or denial of employee PTO request or support as needed. Compile, assist and reconcile failed claims.Runs and manages failed activities.Assists staff in troubleshooting any challenges regarding failed claims or activities.Pulls monthly billing for TOU and determines eligibility for incentive pay based on billing.Assist with billing and reporting duties as needed. Analyzes for abnormalities or trends in data/reports pulled.Assist with troubleshooting any BHL board related issues or challenges.Training new personnel in billing, reporting, and payroll.Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Two years of general office or administrative experience. Preferred Qualifications: Five years of experience with payroll, failed claims, and revenue reportingMust pass criminal records fingerprint check.Ability to pass drug screen. Requirements/Competencies: Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting/standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
