Responsibilities:

  • Perform essential floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
  • Maintain records of floor care activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing outstanding customer service.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous floor care experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and perform tasks that include standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
  • Capable of following both oral and written instructions.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
