Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is seeking a part-time or full-time (20-40 hrs/week) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide services in several JRI programs. Littleton Academy, a 16-bed therapeutic residential school for children aged 6-12 located in Littleton, MA, has an immediate opening for 6-8hrs/week. Additional hours are available within the agency up to full-time depending on the candidate's interest. This position may require travel to program locations outside the greater Boston area.

You will join a network of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners across several JRI programs and will be responsible for the trauma-informed psychiatric management of youth coping with emotional, behavioral, and attachment issues.

You will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and families, including:
  • Complex diagnostic assessment
  • Psychopharmacological management
  • Parent guidance
  • Team consultation
  • Comprehensive treatment planning
Multidisciplinary team collaboration is integral to this position. Psychiatric services are provided on-site.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must have prior experience working with latency-aged children who have acute or complex psychiatric presentations.
  • Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program.
  • Candidate must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Candidate must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
