Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

You will join a network of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners across several JRI programs and will be responsible for the trauma-informed psychiatric management of youth coping with emotional, behavioral, and attachment issues.
You will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and families, including:
- Complex diagnostic assessment
- Psychopharmacological management
- Parent guidance
- Team consultation
- Comprehensive treatment planning

JRI is one of the largest human services providers in the Commonwealth of MA, in addition to being one of the most programmatically diverse. JRI has over 100 programs that serve hundreds of clients in residential settings, and exponentially more in outpatient and community-based settings. We provide cutting-edge, trauma-specialized clinical interventions, ensuring the provision of the highest quality evidence-based family-centered psychiatric care in our residential programs.
In JRI therapeutic residential schools, children live and attend school on-site, but have many opportunities for involvement at home and in the community.

Requirements:
- Candidate must have prior experience working with latency-aged children who have acute or complex psychiatric presentations.
- Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from an accredited program.
- Candidate must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Candidate must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
