Job Summary:
As a Desktop Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our customers and proactively identifying their needs.
You'll work to create the ideal experience that any customer would seek to encounter.
  • Creating and resolving Desktop issues for employees Onsite and Remote.
  • Primary duties will include standard desktop/Laptop, HP Printers
  • Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
  • Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
  • Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference)
  • Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
  • Comfortable with face-to-face interactions as will be required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customer's site.

Qualifications:
  • Drug-screen and Background screening
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products.
  • Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
  • Personable.
  • Relatable and responsible when interacting with ALL customers.

  • Reliable transportation

  2. Candidate must have a deep understanding of diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing PC/laptop hardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU), and understanding of troubleshooting PC software (Windows blue-screen, Outlook, connect network printers) as well.
  3. Working experience or strong understanding of enterprise technologies (Office 365, Win10 Professional, imaging, and ticketing systems. Having experience supporting applications related to engineering, manufacturing, and logistics is a plus
  4. Soft Skills is a must for this role. Candidate must have the ability to work with strong personalities. Managing stress while being able to deescalate tense users is a key attribute.
