Pediatrician

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Conduct a program of care with total responsibility for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescent patients. Secure history and physical examination of patients in outpatient service. Utilize laboratory & diagnostic services as necessary. Diagnosis & prescribe treatment as indicated. Perform emergency treatment in cases of serious illness or injury. Seek outside advice & consultation as necessary; refer for medical surgical or other adjunct services those patients requiring specialty consultation, or for confirmation of diagnosis & treatment. Participate in preventive medicine activities such as immunization, disease detection, & prevention. Coordinate an education program for the patient & family. Hospitalize patients and assumes full care of those hospitalized patients. Assume “on call” responsibility for hospital and outpatient service.

Experience and Education include, but are not limited to:
  • Doctor of Medicine or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of Pediatrics Residency Training
  • Massachusetts Medical License
