We seek an Associate Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the pharmacy primarily through performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Verifies medication stock and updates inventory data in our purchasing system to maintain inventory records within our central pharmacy
- Responsible for central inventory stock rotation and filling stock requests for the different areas of the practice
- Monitors backorders and works with other departments to find substitutions
- Monitors department usages and is responsible for distribution of bulk orders
- Assists the central mixing Pharmacists with administrative tasks, as needed to maintain compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Completion of related BOCES program or 6+ months of experience in a medical environment (in a professional or educational setting)

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
