Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN Student Nurse Extern will work under the supervision of registered nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with various patient care tasks and helping implement care plans.
  • Documenting patient information throughout the care cycle.
  • Supporting patient mobility and transferring patients as needed.
  • Communicating medical information clearly to patients and their families.
  • Providing education on healthy lifestyles and discharge plans.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school and in good standing.
  • Completion of at least one year of nursing school is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
