Perform various duties required to fabricate wiring harnesses and install components, circuit modules, relays, diodes and harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for all types of electronic and electromechanical products.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, AC/DC drives, motors, and other devices, etc.

Design and fabricate electrical boxes for installation of components.

Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, and assemblies, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wire and components, using hand tools and power tools.

Inspect for proper installations and integrity.

Ability to use general and precision tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc

Must read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Maintain necessary documentation and records.

Keep work areas clean and orderly.

Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies, equipment and accessories.

Has a strong knowledge in 12V as well as 120/240 systems. Able to meet all necessary testing and production requirements as required. Perform other related duties as required.

Employees in this level perform all functions listed above and have a very high degree of skill and a thorough understanding of the required work. They have acquired a greater knowledge, training, and extensive experience. This person can work independently and thus the amount of work review, checks, and supervision is significantly less for an employee at this level than at others. Complexity or variety of work is higher and may involve greater technical skills. The scope of assignments includes instruction, demonstration and some leading a group if required. Performs other work as assigned

Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):

Must be able to read and understand English.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED

At least two years of experience in equivalent position.

Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop.

Must have use of hands and be able to work over-head.

Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp.

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
