POSITION SUMMARY The Tax Preparer (Experienced) will oversee tax preparation services for clients at Blueprint University, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns. This key role will drive client satisfaction and maximize our tax services' value. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax knowledge and client service skills to deliver exceptional results.

OBJECTIVES

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of individual and business tax returns.

Maintain and improve client retention rates and meet new targets.

Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients.

Analyze financial records for compliance and identify tax savings.

Assist clients with tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.

Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.

Monitor department metrics and KPIs for performance.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Promote Blueprint University’s tax services through networking and marketing.

COMPETENCIES

Strong knowledge of tax preparation.

Ability to analyze financial records and provide strategic advice.

Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.

Excellent client service skills.

Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.

Experience with tax software and tools.

Understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proven track record of client satisfaction and retention.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Networking: Participate in networking events to promote services.

Ambassador Role: Promote our mission and services in all professional interactions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

3-10+ years of experience in tax preparation.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Prior experience in a client-facing position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk or computer.
