Momentum Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD/DO specializing in Anesthesiology to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide anesthesia care within a supportive healthcare environment.
Position: Locum MD/DO - Anesthesiologist
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Perform pre-operative assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and ensure patient readiness.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, anesthesia administration, and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
Valid Arizona state medical license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Anesthesiology preferred.
Proficiency in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
