Role

As a Tooling Specialist (also known as Mold Builder, Tooling Technician), you'll be responsible for producing new tooling efficiently and on time, maintaining high quality standards. You'll coordinate with various departments (such as CNC, design, and EDM), problem solve, and direct peers towards common goals. You'll also work closely with the Tooling Supervisor and mold designer to determine the overall game plan and methodology of tool build when required.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years experience in mold building.
  • Proficiency with CAD, NC programming, manual milling, grinding, turning, CNC, and EDM.
  • Experience with Manual Machining Skills and CAD/CAM Software.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or in a team setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Experience with Bridgeport, lathe and surface grinder is a plus.
  • Must be a US citizen.
