Position Highlights Position Type: Full-time Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday Location: Chicago Heights, IL 60441 Responsibilities: Provide speech and language services to severe-profound students within a specialized Adaptive Learning (PAL) Program. (SLPs will receive CPI training) This program has one transition classroom with students up to age 22. The SLPs will provide push-in services and will work on social skills, functional academics, and life skills with their students. SLPs will actively develop, evaluate, and update IEPs in collaboration with a dedicated team of educators and families. SLPs will document and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs. SLPs will be expected to do bus and lunch duty. The SLPs will have their own offices and mentors. Additional duties to be assigned. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology.
