.Net Developer

Apex Systems is looking for a .NET Developer that is willing to go ONSITE IN DES MOINES, IA.

This engineering role will be part of a team supporting our supply chain technology and will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining technical products and platforms. May involve coordination on projects and/or system maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and test integrations between internal systems and 3rd party commercial supply chain related software including warehouse management, fleet management, and procurement platforms.
• Develop and support existing legacy and batch solutions and contribute to development of new technical complex solutions by analyzing and identifying areas of modification and improvement. Develop new routine solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Contribute to and maintain roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
• Monitor, identify, assess, and correct complex software problems to maintain fully functioning applications software.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain complex automated unit tests to ensure quality of solution being built.
• Research and suggest improvements to increase quality of the technical solution and supporting infrastructure to better meet users' needs.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of .NET Development mostly focused on backend development
• Must have experience working with messaging queues and/or JMS (JMS - run time .NET library with SQL backend)
• Strong backend development experience modernizing API and helping out with data mappings and services
• Thorough understanding of .Net/C#, web development, and full-stack engineering using MS SQL Server.
• Experience and comfort with supporting and enhancing legacy and batch solution (vb.net, vb script...).

Required Skills : .NET, REST API, C# and SQL Server / Oracle experience Experience with VB.NET and VBscript Caseys looking to modernize and integrate messaging que into their existing applications
Basic Qualification : Need consultants able to go onsite bi - weekly up to 6 days a month. Need to be within drivable distance from Des Moines if not in the Des Moines Metro
