Pediatrician Opening - Lewiston, ID Located in West Central Idaho Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Successful, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical practice, the largest of its kind in the state.- Primarily outpatient practice with weekly hospital call mostly involving well-newborns with a small percentage of Level II NICU cases. - Pediatric admissions occur infrequently, averaging one patient per month or less.- Pediatricians enjoy significant autonomy and flexibility when it comes to their schedule and practice. This is a major benefit which distinguishes this medical group from many other workplace models.- Pediatricians enjoy a collegial working relationship and often rely on the expertise of one another when working challenging clinical cases.- Pediatricians work with their own well-qualified support staff who will help enter clinical data into the EHR. This contributes greatly to improved clinical care and decreased physician workload.- Option to precept University of Washington medical students. Compensation - Base salary plus bonus incentive based on production and quality measure.- Partner in 12 months- Sign-on bonus- Residency or fellowship stipend- Some student loan repayment- Relocation expense reimbursement.- PTO- Generous medical, dental and vision insurance- Long-term disability and life insurance- 401(k) retirement plan- Wellness incentives- CME allowance About Lewiston, ID - The Lewiston-Clarkston Valley has a population of approximately 60,000 and is located at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers on the Idaho/Washington border.- Its an outdoorsmans paradise with almost any outdoor sport available within minutes, including biking, hiking, boating, skiing, rafting, kayaking, hunting, fishing, camping, golfing and much more- Easy access to a local airport, the University of Idaho, Washington State University, and Lewis Clark State College.- Two-hour drive to metropolitan communities of Spokane, WA and Coeur dAlene, ID.- Moderate four-season climate.- Safe community with excellent schools. Lewiston High School opened a new facility in 2020 with a direct connection to Lewis Clark State College and a state-of-the-art technical education facility.
