Description:

As part of the 2025 Summer Harvest Group Internship Program, our Data Architecture intern will work closely with our data architecture and engineering teams to assist in the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to real-world projects that directly impact our business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data models, schemas, and pipelines to support data analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior data architects to optimize existing data structures and processes.
  • Support the maintenance and documentation of data architecture frameworks and best practices.
  • Participate in the development of data quality and governance protocols to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects, working alongside business analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data storage, access, and performance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture strategies and practices.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of database design, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data manipulation (familiarity with SQL preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Tableau, Azure) and data processing tools (e.g., DBT) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous internship or project experience in data architecture or related fields is advantageous but not required.
