SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing recovery-focused support to clients and enforce program procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitors all assigned program clients.
  • Develops and maintains supportive relationships with clients; provides general support and encouragement.
  • Provides basic administrative navigation assistance to clients as designated in their individual service plans.
  • Responds to client personal and interpersonal issues in a professional manner uses approved de-escalation techniques.
  • Alerts relevant Program Supervisors about clients who are struggling or in distress.
  • Assists new clients with move-in and program onboarding.
  • Uses onsite facilities to launder new client laundry and program linens.
  • Maintains log of residents’ entry and exit from the facility.
  • Conducts floor walk-throughs and room checks to monitor client well-being; ensures clients are following program protocols.
  • Distributes client medication; monitors client self-medication; maintains medication log.
  • Completes daily shift reports and other documentation, as required.
  • Monitors clients during mealtimes to ensure assigned dining schedules are observed.
  • Escorts clients throughout the facility, as required.
  • Administers scheduled and random drug screening, as required.
  • Writes case notes and maintains client files and documentation.
  • Completes required data entry to ensure client files are audit compliant.
  • Maintains client confidentiality according to HIPAA and organization requirements.
  • Completes all assigned staff trainings and courses.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
    1. Obtain NCRS certification and complete all requirements within 2 years of employment.
    2. Other skills required:
      1. One or more years of experience in social services, healthcare, security, or related field preferred.
      2. Knowledge of general principles and approaches for providing services to clients experiencing housing insecurity, substance addiction, interpersonal trauma, and criminal justice involvement.
      3. Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
      4. Comfortable using patient health databases and completing basic data entry.
      5. Maintain professional composure in emotional and complex situations.
