What we are looking for: A Front-End Developer/Designer with 3+ yrs. experience in JavaScript-based web and mobile applications. Responsible for helping design and develop the look and feel for websites, web applications, and other tasks related to marketing campaigns.

Job Purpose: Responsible for designing and developing friendly user-facing web and mobile app features, build modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Job Summary: The Front-End Designer/Developer will utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and rapid prototyping tools to develop effective user interfaces and web page presence on company websites. The Front-End Designer/Developer will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to update the website and internal web tools to improve efficiency. The Front-End Designer/ Developer will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing, optimized, and enhance usability.

Duties: (Additional Duties May Be Added As Needed)

  • Work across cross functional teams to develop front-end solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with Marketing and Product departments on project scope, timelines & requirements.
  • Implement and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives; site performance, UI/UX, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Debug, test, and troubleshoot web applications, update legacy web pages, as well as other day-to-day maintenance of web pages and applications.
Qualifications:

  • Working with Rapid Prototyping tools such as Abode XD or inVision
  • Working with WordPress CMS including custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Studio, and Azure services.
  • Must have strong Project management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and balance multiple responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Solid understanding of software design and architecture.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and sense of teamwork.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Similar
  • 3+ years designing in Photoshop and XD or other prototyping software/applications
  • 3+ years' experience and understanding of web design, user-experience and best practices
  • 3+ years designing and developing feature rich, modular, JavaScript web applications
  • 3+ years designing and developing in WordPress, PHP, MySQL environment
  • 3+ years' experience working with front end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript, jQuery, LESS/Sass, Bootstrap, & responsive design
  • Experience with version control (i.e., TFS, Git)
  • Experience with Unit, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
  • Preferred Experience:
    1. Experience working in Azure Cloud Environment (PaaS & IaaS)
    2. Experience with building and automation tools/web performance
    3. Experience working Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop
    4. Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
    5. Experience with A/B Testing platforms such as Optimize/Adobe Target
