We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Loan Assistant to join our team. As the Mortgage Loan Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our customer's journey to homeownership, including providing administrative support to our Mortgage Loan Officers and assisting with the loan application process to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Some key responsibilities as our Mortgage Loan Assistant will include ordering and tracking services needed for mortgage loan approval (i.e., appraisal, title, credit report and flood certification) and preparing and sending accurate disclosures and mortgage documents within the regulated timelines.

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 1-2 years of prior experience in banking, preferably in mortgage lending. Strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new systems are crucial for this position. Additionally, excellent interpersonal communication skills and a high level of self-direction are necessary. All Mascoma Bank employees must adhere to the privacy and confidentiality of customer information.

This position can be performed remotely within our market areas.

The starting pay for this position is $18.66-$21.09/hour depending on experience
