Job Responsibilities

  • Reading, understanding and following work instructions.
  • Ensuring the adjacent shift's Operator / Packer is aware of job-related responsibilities.
  • Weighing and packing product according to packaging instructions.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the Press area assigned.
  • Ensuring Production Record is correct.
  • Disposal of scrap.
  • Reporting any problems / discrepancies to the crew leader, foreman or quality inspector.
  • Make boxes.

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements

  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to work occasional voluntary overtime.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.

Job Specific Training or Validation Required

  • Blue Book Content and Review.
  • Production Record completion requirements.
  • Scale reading for packing.
  • Box making and Tape Machine use.
  • Scrap disposal: Red Bins and Grinders.
