Job Title: BOM Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BOM Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing PLM parts, bills of materials (BOMs), and approved manufacturing lists (AMLs) through a controlled change management process. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage PLM parts, bill of materials (BOMs), and approved manufacturing lists (AMLs) through a controlled change management process in PLM.

  • Maintain and manage part data, including lifecycle phases, for New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining products.

  • Plan, draft, and submit engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs) in PLM.

  • Monitor and maintain the progress of engineering change requests and orders to ensure timely review by approvers.

  • Work closely with multiple cross-functional teams to drive product readiness in PLM to meet product milestones.

  • Manage data integrity within PLM and champion documentation best practices, policies, and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, change management, product support, configuration management, product lifecycle management (PLM), or equivalent experience.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work on complex product configurations collaboratively.

  • Able to manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience within the server or storage markets preferred.

  • Experience working with teams in multiple locations and time zones preferred.

  • Knowledge of working with different PLM systems including Agile or Fusion preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
