Performs the listed duties in the Mammography modalities for the system campuses. In the absence of the Administrative Supervisor, the Navigator will assume and perform the Administrative Supervisor responsibilities. Works with Administrative Supervisor to maintain all short term and long term goals of the TUHS Mammography Departments. Assists in the management of departmental budget, the marketing and growth of the department and in developing and maintaining relationships with key referring physicians. Act as a liaison between the Radiologists and Referring providers in order to expedite patient care; including obtaining scripts and pre-certs in advance for scheduled procedures. Works with Lead Interpreting and will ensure all TUHS Mammography departments are compliant with MQSA regulations and ACR requirements. Assists in maintaining biopsy results auditing, statistics, assist mammography technologists with resolving BIRADS 0, no shows, etc. Assists Administrative Supervisor of Mammography in the daily operations of the Mammography Departments to include the annual evaluations of Mammography techs system-wide. Works directly with the Administrative Supervisor in the recruiting and hiring process of Mammography technologists at all locations.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Non Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)

Experience

3 Years experience in Mammography (Required)

License/Certifications

ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst (Required)

RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)

RT(M) - Reg Technologist (M) (Required)
