Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing designated student services as detailed in the student's IEP
  • Completing assessment reports within mandated time frames
  • Communicating results of evaluation and specific recommendations of occupational therapy services
  • Developing therapeutic intervention goals integrated in the students' educational programs
  • Conducting periodic reassessment of therapy objectives

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field
  • Valid state occupational therapist (OT) license
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance
  • Advanced skill in working with students with diverse needs
  • Experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) preferred
