Salary Range: $110K-$120K/Annum

Job Description :

  • Splunk Admin certified profiles or at least power user certification of Splunk for L3 prod support role.
  • Experience working with Splunk Experience working in Agile practices.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Production Engineer or Backend Software Engineer for web-scale or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way. Deployment tool e.g. puppet / chef / Bladelogic / autosys Database e.g. SQL or NO SQL.
  • Exposure to any Big Data / Monitoring platforms Coding experience in one or more of Python, Bash, Go or Java.
  • Experience building or operating high performance distributed systems.
  • Key Responsibilities: Support Major Incidents by adjusting existing or instrumenting new monitoring to address monitoring deficiencies.
  • Support Problem Managements enterprise root cause analysis (RCA) processes Capture technical information from the relevant stakeholders and synthesize it into useful information in various formats for senior management Knowledge of technical excellence with continuous delivery, automated testing, security methodologies, system performance, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Capable in navigating through a product outage, skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behavior, and figuring out the root cause of incidents Strong ability for using independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action to solve problems.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently or in team settings on complex production issues.
  • Participate in On-Call support as needed.
