Job Title: QA Inspector Job Description Verify compliance of assembled printed circuit boards with engineering documentation, manufacturing build plans, and workmanship standards via visual and other inspection methods (work includes both visual and machine-aided inspection such as AOI and X-Ray, test equipment). Accurately record as-built information, nonconformance information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other product attributes into computer databases. Collaborate with assembly technicians, manufacturing engineering, and project engineering in the disposition of nonconforming product identified during inspection. Perform process and housekeeping audits of working areas and report findings to area supervision. Work Environment 60% of the current workload is tied to the space sector, particularly the Dragonfly Program. The work environment is an engineering/lab setting with a focus on high mix/low volume work for unique space flight hardware. The hours are flexible, typically starting between 6:00 am-8:00 am and working 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday. The position is 100% onsite in Columbia, MD. The team consists of around 60 employees, including manufacturing engineering, project engineers, and technicians, but there is only one other electronic inspector.
