Position Summary
This critical position within the HR Service Delivery team will have both technical and functional responsibilities to drive process excellence and supporting organizational objectives. It includes configuration and maintenance of the HR Time & Labor systems to ensure compliance with HR process and jurisdictional labor requirements. The incumbent will also be part of the team that monitors and processes team member transactions and validates data from various perspectives throughout the system, as well as support internal and external customers for HR guidance and/or HR systems assistance through help tickets, HR phone calls, direct emails, etc.
This position may also lead HR projects such as process improvement evaluations and policy development.
Duties & Responsibilities
Designs, configures, and maintains the HR Time & Labor systems to ensure adherence to compliance standards and labor requirements.
Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS.
Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
Assist customers directly or indirectly through email, chat services, and phone.
Creates standard and ad hoc queries or reports. Provides data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
Other duties as assigned: i.e. Preparing end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
Experience and Education
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Thorough understanding of Time and Labor systems with a focus on configuration and setup. ADP or Kronos (UKG) a plus.
- Working knowledge of system integration techniques desirable.
- Understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures to drive operational excellence.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company and employee information.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of functional analysis and system design.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
