THE WORK • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and real-time systems. • Work individually or as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components for adherence to design requirements and resolving issues promptly. • Utilize software development methodologies tailored to the project's needs, ensuring effective problem-solving and efficient delivery. • Provide input to system design decisions, considering hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis. • Embrace diversity of thought and contribute to a culture of inclusion and collaboration. Basic Qualifications: Candidate must possess security clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject area and Fourteen (14) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a technical degree Strong experience with AWS, NiFi, Ansible Strong Java, application server and RedHat Linux (knowledge of RPMs and iptables a plus) experience Experience with Apache ZooKeeper Experience in REST Services and interfaces Desired Skills: • Experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) such as JBoss and Apache Tomcat • Experience Map Reduce programming model and technologies • Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Hive, Pig • Cloudbase / Accumulo Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
