Assembly Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assembles mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a custom air handler manufacturing process.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble, package, and manufacture equipment and products.
- Utilize and operate handheld power tools such as a screw and drill gun.
- Ability to read and understand measurements.
- Lift and position raw materials
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Complete necessary paperwork or checklists
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Train less experienced team members in all functions of the job role
- Other duties as assigned.
