Description: Work in team environment with engineers, designers, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing Develop Life Cycle documents, Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standards Redline P&ID documentation Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) & distributed control system (DCS) configurations Testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems Mentor less experienced engineers Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution Provide technical sales support to business development team Manage a large project or several concurrent small to medium projects for projects executed in multiple offices and customer locations Skills: plc programming, automation, controls engineering Top Skills Details: plc programming,automation,controls engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science 5+ years of experience in automation 5+ years with Rockwell Automation or DeltaV Hands-on experience with current PLC or DCS platforms Communicate effectively and professionally with both customers and colleagues to present new ideas, accomplish challenging goals, and solve problems Ability to guild a project with little supervision and guidance Proven track record of managing small projects from start to finish Ability to author proposals, change orders for new and repeat business through relationships Thorough understanding of control system design and coding Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people Third party HMI/SCADA Software: GE/Intellution, WonderWare, OSIsoft Process Control Fundamentals Understanding of batch or continuous process control, combustion control Awareness of process safety, validation, and good documentation practices Network design/administration Experience Level: Intermediate Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
