Sonographer I-PRN

Description PRN sonography position that would float between Parma Medical Center, St. John Medical Center, and Elyria Medical Center as needed. This position would support each facility and contribute to patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and help reduce and minimize backlogs on outpatient exams. Essential Functions Provide quality sonographic images in a timely manner. Assures a safe and clean environment. Maintains knowledge of technical skills. Successfully completes ultrasound scans. Answers the phone and completes documentation appropriately. Collaborates effectively with staff/co-workers. Demonstrates age-specific knowledge. Adheres to hospital safety standards Perform , follow protocol, and maintain competency for High Level Disinfection procedures Take responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
