Requisition #: 684 Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst Location: 902 Reece Road Fort Meade, Maryland 20755 Clearance Level: Active DoD - TS/SCI with Poly Required Certification(s): * TBD SUMMARY Next Generation Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations - The customer mission aims to build communities of Innovators to generate innovative solutions to national security problems to support DoD, Intelligence Community, and other government organizations. Create new opportunities for national security service by building models of service that account for generational and cultural differences between the military, academic, and venture communities and providing flexible pathways to official service within the DoD. Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations (ICON) The Next Generation Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations (ICON) task intends to address the ongoing need to deliver new and expedient capabilities to the intelligence and DoD's network of cyberoperations stakeholders. Continuation of support under the COCOM Cyber Mission Support (CCMS) task order. The multi-tenant, project-based procurement sponsored by NSIN to support its Mission Partner network with implementing cyber solutions across various DoD and Intel programs. This is a unique opportunity to work across the cyberspace operations community supporting NSIN's Mission Partners, such as, United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and the Cyber Mission Forces (CMF); Geographic and functional COCOMs; Joint Task Forces (JTF); Service cyberspace components (e.g., Marine Forces Cyber Command (MARFORCYBERCOM) and U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC); DoD component services and agencies; Intelligence agencies.; Homeland Security operational components Partners.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop cyber exercises for Combatant Commands. * Develop Exercise Plans and plans using relevant policies, directives, and doctrines to develop and execute custom, realistic, scenario-based exercises to test the effectiveness of cybersecurity training tools, processes, and procedures. * Coordinate and facilitate requirement gathering and work with stakeholders and process owners to define and document required cybersecurity process evaluations. * Assist in drafting and maintaining exercise lifecycle documents, including after-action reporting, lessons learned, and process improvement plans that incorporate recommendations and modifications to Cybersecurity Plans, processes, and protocols. * Supervises, and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.
QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications * TBD Education, Background, and Years of Experience * BA/BS and 9 years of cybersecurity and exercise planning experience
WORKING CONDITIONS Environmental Conditions * Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Strength Demands * Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
