Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional care for cancer patients. Our facility, a Level I trauma center, is a leader in medical innovation and patient safety culture. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical oncology unit and contribute to our patient-centered care model.

Job Summary

Our Nurses work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, providing care for solid tumor cancer patients, hematological cancer patients, and those requiring hospice and end of life care. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the RN will utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut RN License.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role).
  • BSN preferred.
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
