Vimeo is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our Marketing & Operations Data team. This role will be responsible for modeling, leveraging, and evangelizing data from various areas of the Vimeo business, including but not limited to product usage, mobile app engagement, user activity, progressive profiling, and sales data. The Principal Product Manager will be the point person for our marketing team’s segmentation, targeting, and reporting needs. This role is expected to understand how Vimeo’s data is shared across channels and ensure its availability, consistency, and quality. Additionally, we are looking for someone to unlock new ways for Vimeo to gather and execute on marketing and operational insights. 

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Marketing’s data strategy - from selecting and integrating vendors to defining metrics and operationalizing data
  • Manage vendor relationships with ESPs, CDPs, and Data Warehouse partners
  • Partner with marketing channel owners to ensure the connection between channel platform and data warehouse
  • Deeply understand channel owners needs and motivations to develop a comprehensive roadmap that delivers value through our lifecycle communication experience and delivers business results
  • Work with upstream Product Managers and Engineers to identify source event data and metadata and negotiate its delivery to the data platform
  • Work with the Privacy and Data governance teams to ensure that sensitive data is managed according to policy. 
  • Collaborate with channel owners, engineering teams, and product owners to troubleshoot data system and data quality errors
  • Create audience segments and suppressions within CDP platform and route the datasets into corresponding marketing channels 
  • Create datasets and data marts within Snowflake and CDP Platforms
  • Train & enable Vimeo employees to be able to build and activate audiences across multiple channels within our CDP platform
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the Data Engineering team on behalf of the Marketing / Marketing Ops teams, including contributing to central data systems and collaborating on the design and structure of Marketing data
  • Proactively communicate progress on the above to relevant stakeholders

Skills & knowledge you should possess:

  • Proficient with SQL, experience with Python and Jinja a plus
  • 3+ years of data modeling experience with a focus on KPIs, dbt a plus
  • Experience with Looker or other data visualization / business intelligence tools
  • 7+ years of experience within marketing operations or data management
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business model (B2B & B2C), subscription marketing experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with various 3P Martech vendors, preferred in parentheses: ESPs (Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Marketo), CDPs (Simon Data), Segmentation tools (Pendo, Amplitude), Data Warehouses (Snowflake, GCP) and ETL Tools (Hightouch, Alteryx).

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $142,200 to $216,500.

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
