Job Title: Infection Prevention Specialist

Location: Pennsylvania- Must be a resident of PA (Remote, 25-50% in-state travel; must be willing to travel as needed)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

Salary: $93,600 per year

Overview:

Seeking a certified Infection Prevention Specialist to train healthcare professionals and improve infection control across Pennsylvania. This remote role requires regular travel to healthcare facilities and state offices.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead infection prevention training.

Provide guidance on infection control policies and regulations.

Create educational materials and training sessions.

Assess and support healthcare staff training needs.

Promote Project Firstline resources and initiatives.

Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions.

Analyze data and track infection control efforts.

Attend professional conferences and collaborate with healthcare organizations.

Qualifications:

Certification: Current CIC certification.

Education: Degree in nursing, public health, medicine, biology, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in infection prevention, covering:

Disease identification, infection control, surveillance, and prevention.

Healthcare environments, sterilization, and infection control measures.

Employee health or occupational health experience preferred.
