Urgent Need at a Health Center in Northern Maine We are looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health NP to join our staff. This is a critical position that is solely on the day shift (No nights, weekends, calls or holiday coverage).
Responsibilities and Duties
Practitioners joining our practice will provide outpatient community mental health services to patients of all ages on a Mon Fri, 8:00am 5:00pm schedule with no nights, weekends, call, or holiday coverage. The PMHNP will collaborate with the Primary Care Providers to recognize, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues while acting as a contributing member to the integrated primary care team. This position requires knowledge, experience and active support for rural, community oriented care. We offer state of the art facilities, technology, and utilizes Athena Health Electronic Health Records system.

Competitive Salary and Benefits package , and generous time off. Negotiable sign on bonus, relocation actual cost with $5,000 cap, $1,500 annually and one week paid time towards Continuing Medical Education. The school district, RSU , is an excellent choice for education, offering small classroom sizes with personal instruction. They offer an excellent music education and have strong baseball, softball, track, tennis, golf, basketball, football and soccer teams. Another option is Greater Houlton Christian Academy, which is an accredited non-denominational pre-K through grade 12 school, also offering daycare from age 2 until the start of school.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor s Degree in Nursing followed by a Master s Degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing from an accredited school.
