ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Specialist to join our team. The Dispatch Specialist will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the deployment of our field service personnel and resources to effectively respond to client needs. The successful candidate will work closely with our operations team, field service personnel, and clients to ensure the efficient and timely dispatch of our resources.

*This particular position also requires registering with the state of Utah as an Alarm Agent. This process includes a federal background check/fingerprinting and an application. This is separate from the background check you would complete for general employment eligibility at LVT.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive and process incoming service requests through a work order queue to assign all pending dispatch work.
  • Efficiently dispatch technicians to client locations based on the nature of the request and the availability of resources.
  • Research any work order that requires additional follow-up and or find alternative means to complete service requests through independent problem-solving.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities, including details of requests, resource assignments, follow-up to rejected assignments, and/or investigation of failed timelines.
  • Coordinate to ensure proper communication and seamless execution of dispatch assignments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to dispatch activities in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify and escalate critical incidents or issues to appropriate parties, such as field supervisors, management, or emergency services, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of dispatch operations, procedures, and protocols a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow a plus
  • Previous Dispatch experience a plus
