Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities For Warehouse/Coating:

Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion

Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for shipping

Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errors

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Surface Preparation: Cleaning and preparing surfaces for coating application, which may involve sanding, degreasing, or applying primer to ensure proper adhesion.

Coating Application: Applying various types of coatings, such as paint, varnish, sealant, or protective coatings, using spray guns, rollers, brushes, or other application methods.

Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining coating equipment, such as spray guns, pumps, and mixing machines, to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.

Problem Solving: Identifying and troubleshooting issues that arise during coating application, such as defects, adhesion problems, or equipment malfunctions, and implementing solutions to ensure quality outcomes.

For Onsite Refurbishment Jobs:

Inspecting Items: Assessing the condition of items slated for refurbishment

Disassembly and Cleaning: Disassembling items as needed, cleaning components thoroughly, and identifying any parts that need replacement or repair.

Repairing and Replacing Parts: Fixing or replacing damaged or worn-out parts

Refinishing Surfaces: Sanding, painting, staining, or otherwise refinishing surfaces to restore them to a like-new condition.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting tests to ensure that refurbished items meet quality standards

Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while performing refurbishment tasks, such as handling hazardous materials or using protective equipment.

Collaboration: Working closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate refurbishment efforts and meet production goals.

Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements or cost-saving measures to enhance efficiency and productivity in the refurbishment process.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred

Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects

Ability to work with limited supervision

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Punctuality and Transportation is required
