To be successful, phlebotomist must be detail oriented as well as have knowledge of blood drawing procedures, organizational skills, and great communication skills.

  • Travel to specified locations to collect specimens. Visit patients at their homes, workplaces, or healthcare facilities.
  • Set up: Prepare a safe and sanitary mobile phlebotomy station.
  • Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identity.
  • Greet Patients: Make Patients feel comfortable about the blood draw procedure.
  • Specimen Collection: Collect and label specimens appropriately.
