Located in the southwest corner of the state in Joplin, Missouri, Freeman is a physician-led, locally owned, not-for-profit health system and is well-recognized as the region's epicenter for quality healthcare. OUR GERIATRIC MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY:
    • Requires BC/BE fellowship trained Geriatrician or Internist with Geriatric focus for outpatient practice
    • Admit to an established Hospitalist service
    • Share space with one BC Geriatrician and one part-time Rheumatologist
    • Cognitive testing done on-site
    • Teaching opportunities are available for medical students and residents
    • Integrated health system with more than 300 physicians in 60 specialties and growing
    • Robust professional support provided by the health system, including IT support, hiring, and billing/coding
    • New, near-site, state-of-the art day care/learning center is available exclusively for children of Freeman employees
