Come join the DMVA team, apply today DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your primary responsibilities include conducting mechanical repairs and executing preventative maintenance on refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems, along with air handling equipment and other associated machinery at Fort Indiantown Gap. Additionally, you will also be tasked with the installation of new units, component parts, rebuilding, adjustments, and repairs of various HVAC systems. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the HVAC and Building Automation Technician trainee program (commonwealth title); or Three years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, units, and equipment including one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls. Special Requirements: All employees must obtain EPA Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification from an approved provider within 6 months of employment. This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: Must pass a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
