Concierge Homemaker/House Cleaner

Stamford, United States Collaborative Home Care Full time

We are looking for a hard-working, caring person interested in helping a client with a variety of tasks around the home. The client lives in Stamford and is interested in working with someone who has an expertise in house cleaning and who is a self-starter. Someone who is proactive and does not require a lot of direction. You must have a reliable car, valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and be willing to transport the client to appointments occasionally.

Duties:

  • Detailed house cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate.
  • General organization - closets, pantry, drawers.
  • Laundry
  • Meal preparation and clean up
  • Run errands on client's behalf, such as grocery shopping
  • Transport client to/from doctor's appointments and social activities
  • Help client with phone conversations (for example, troubleshooting issues with the cable company)
  • Help with other random tasks as directed by the client

 Qualifications: 
  • Experienced house cleaner
  • A self-starter
  • A compassionate and upbeat attitude
  • Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
  • Possess a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
  • Possess a state ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a social security card, birth certificate, or passport
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
