POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Architect (FA) Sales Contact Center is responsible for building relationships with the Credit Union's membership by offering products and services of Verve from our sales phone queue.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Lending Responsibilities
- Will interact with members primarily over the phone, taking calls in the phone queue.
- Understand, educate, and advise members of all Consumer Loan products available.
- Complete application process and all necessary support paperwork within federal guidelines/timelines.
- Educate members on credit union products and services by informing members of available financial services including, but not limited to savings/checking accounts, CDs, IRA's, HSA's, credit cards, savings bonds, securities, safe deposit boxes.
- Meet call sales queue expectations along with production and accuracy goals.
General Responsibilities
- Create the Verve Experience by growing positive relationships with members, representing Verve's brand, and living our Patch Values.
- Promote cooperation with all team members to ensure team effort and prompt member service.
- Open member accounts and complete all necessary paperwork associated with the process.
- Answer members' general inquiries: account balances, rate information, hours or operation, branch locations, ATMs, membership requirements, and products available.
- Investigate and correct errors on member accounts.
- Assist the Member Service Team as needed.
- Maintain a professional image of the credit union with every team member and member interaction.
- Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as related to position.
- Yearly completion of all on-line compliance training as defined by Management.
- Attend required sales, services, and department training classes to enhance skill level.
- Demonstrate the Credit Union's philosophy in all interactions and adhere to Patch Values with members, prospective members, and team members.
- Foster and maintain an atmosphere of solutions, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- AA degree in Business Administration or a financial field desirable or 1-2 years relevant experience; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Previous sales experience required.
- Experience in financial lending preferred.

- Skillful application of math concepts is necessary.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in a variety of formats.
- Possess a keen sense of urgency, initiative, and competitive drive to get things done, with emphasis on working with and through other people in the process.
- Understand people well and possess the ability to connect with them quickly while using that understanding effectively in influencing and persuading other people to take action.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of lending, current loan policies and procedures.
- Enthusiastic team player who is readily approachable and gets along easily with a wide variety of people.
- Work at a fast pace, attentive to details and quick and accurate in handling them.
- Careful follow-up if delegating work to others.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work Environment: Business office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand at a desk the majority of the workday; talk or hear; stand or walk occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is typically utilizing a computer, keyboard and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
